²My God, I call to you during the day,
but you do not answer.
I call at night;
I ·am not silent [or get no rest].

³You ·sit as the Holy One [^Lare holy].
·The praises of Israel are your throne [^LYou are enthroned on the praises of Israel].
⁴Our ·ancestors [fathers] ·trusted [had confidence in] you;
they ·trusted [had confidence], and you ·saved [rescued; ^Tdelivered] them.
